Bread Basket - Shutter Windows

This is a consignment job where the client had a pass-thru from the kitchen to the sun room. Originally the doors were made of white plastic basket weave and looked fairly tacky not to mention it allowed quite a bit of air circulation which was a problem in the winter. The oak frames were crafted from Centerburg's local cabinet maker Compton Cabinets and will later be painted by the home owner. Colors were chosen to go with the decor and the design picked up shapes in the decorations as well as a depiction of wheat, a symbol of bread - the staple of life.
